Coach Alioum Names 26-Man Squad for 2024 CHAN

Intermediate Lions head coach Alioum Saidou has called to camp 26 players ahead of the first preparatory stage of the CHAN TotalEnergies 2024 playoffs Elimination round.

This will take place in Yaounde from the 15 of May to the 28 of May, 2023.

Among the selected players are PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda’s Ateba Lionel Christian, with 6 goals and 2 assists for the Abakwa Boys, and 18-year-old Eyong Bogard, a hard nut to crack in PWD’S defense.

They were instrumental in the club’s 4th Position in the MTN Elite 1 Championship Pool A.

It is worth noting that no player from the four teams involved in playoffs has been called for the preparatory stage.
