The 2023 edition of the Cup of Cameroon entered its 3rd round on Thursday, 25th May 2023, with ELITE ONE side PWD Bamenda hitting 7 goals against regional league club Dream Olympic FC of Ebolowa.
PWD Bamenda Hits Seven as Cameroon Cup Begins
The Abakwa boys made sure the ghosts of last season were banished, quickly going three nil up before half-time. The game’s highlight was when the substitute goalkeeper Belo Karim scored PWD’s 7th in the dying minutes. The game’s star, however, was Ndiforchu Blaise, who registered 4 assists and 1 goal.
In the other encounters, newly crowned league Champions Coton Sports of Garoua beat fellow ELITE ONE side Yong Sports Academy of Bamenda 4-0 at the Bertoua Municipal Stadium.
