

The Cameroon football federation, FECAFOOT, is set to organize the first ever Youth tournament in the weeks ahead.
A communique published on the FECAFOOT official website indicated that the tournament would run from 31st March to 22nd April. Youth football development is one of the major objectives of the current executive council headed by African football Legend Samuel Eto’o Fils.

According to the communique signed by the FECAFOOT Secretary General, Blaise Djounang, the competition will run in two phases:
The amateur competition, whose main objective is the detection of football talents at a young age, will be the first of its kind organized by the country’s football federation.
