The Under 23 Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon beat their Moroccan Counterparts 1-0 in the second leg of their double-header at the Mohammed IV sports complex, Rabat.

The lone goal was scored by Brenda Tabe in the 56th minute of play after excellent work by her partner in crime and Guinness Super League teammate Raissa Nnanga.

The two forwards are leading the goal-scoring charts in the Guinness super league, Cameroon’s top tier of women’s football.

The second friendly encounter was clearly of higher intensity than the first, in which the lionesses triumphed 2-1. Moroccan defender Khaoula Knia withdraw mid-way through the first half of the game due to injury.

Mike Ndoumou’s charges will be brimming with confidence ahead of the Sud ladies’ cup, which gets underway in Avignon, France, on the 16th of May, 2023.
